To help you, Black & White Recovery collects your name and contact details, your vehicle's details and registration, your location and the details of the breakdown, accident or job, and, where relevant, storage and payment information. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, so we never store your full card number.
We use your information only to do the job you have asked for: to send help to you, recover, transport or store your vehicle, take payment, and, where you ask us to, deal with your insurer or a garage. We keep records where the law, our insurers or accounting rules require it.
We share your details only where it is needed to complete your job or a claim you have asked us to handle, for example with your insurance company, a nominated garage, or our payment provider. We never sell your data or pass it to advertisers.
Our storage facility is protected by CCTV for the security of the vehicles in our care. Footage is held for a limited period and used only for security and, where necessary, insurance or legal purposes.
We keep your information only as long as we need it for your job, our accounts, and any legal or insurance obligations, then delete it securely.
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Email info@blackandwhiterecovery.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.
